Canopy Studio is a boutique design firm known for crafting soulful, earthy, and thoughtfully elevated interiors. We specialize in high-end residential and boutique commercial projects, with a focus on storytelling, rich textures, and timeless design. We are seeking a detail-oriented, design-driven Interior Design Project Manager to support and grow with our creative studio in Los Angeles.

What You’ll Do
As our Interior Design Project Manager, you'll work closely with the principal designer to help manage and execute projects from concept through installation. You’ll play a key role in keeping projects organized, on schedule, and beautifully executed.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Obtain trade quotes for FF&E (furniture, fixtures & equipment)

  • Place and track orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery

  • Visit job sites to monitor construction progress and design execution

  • Perform on-site measurements and surveys

  • Draft floor plans and elevations in AutoCAD

  • Create 3D renderings in SketchUp with specified furnishings and fixtures

  • Communicate updates and ETAs with clients

  • Source and order samples (materials, finishes, fabrics)

  • Source FF&E within budget and design direction

  • Coordinate vendor deliveries and on-site installations

Who You Are

  • At least 2 years of experience in interior design (residential or commercial)

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Excellent communicator — clear, kind, and professional

  • Passionate about interior design and eager to grow

  • Based in Los Angeles with a valid driver’s license and working vehicle

  • Comfortable visiting job sites and design showrooms

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)

  • Knowledge of FF&E specification and documentation

  • Experience with procurement processes
