Paloma Street
Paloma Street is a post-war single-family residence transformed into an earthy, clean, and functional home for a family of four. The clients needed a space that felt open and airy while standing up to the demands of young children — durable without ever compromising on aesthetic.
Canopy Studio led the full-scale renovation from the ground up, beginning with a complete space planning process before presenting to the architects and engineers for city submittal. Opening the kitchen to the living room became the heart of the design — creating a generous, connected space anchored by a large natural oak island. A neutral quartz countertop offers both practicality and restraint, providing the perfect backdrop for an eclectic mix of patinated brass custom pendants and handmade terracotta backsplash tile.
The primary and guest bathrooms carry the same warm, grounded sensibility — bright, open, and finished with materials that reflect the home's overarching intent. The result is a sophisticated yet unpretentious space where warmth and function live effortlessly side by side, and where a young family has room to truly grow.
